South Western Australia (Perth, Hyden, Albany, Hopetoun, Esperance)This Dutch windmill below is actually in Australia! Built and run by an enterprising couple Pleun and Hennie Hitzert from The Netherlands who have called Western Australia home since 1980. Their latest addition of novel lodging is a converted Dakota DC-3 World War II plane, the interior of which is shown below. Western Australia is larger in terms of land area than the whole of Europe and the UK. More photos of lesser known places in Western Australia maybe viewed in the gallery. Click on any of the photos here to view the webpage too.
