In 1995, I went trekking in the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal and was having a meal at a village guesthouse. After eating, I discovered a hen with several chicks under her wings on the ground under the table and took this photo on 35mm slide film.

 

This Chinese New Year, 22 years later, while in church, this old photo came to mind, since it is the year of the rooster/hen. The Chinese greeting on the wall was quite meaningful and hence they were used for this e-card.
